National Career Service NCS - A Platform to Connect Job Seekers and Employers
National Career Service (NCS) is a free platform developed by the Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) for job seekers, employers, counsellors, and training institutes/skill providers. It aims to provide various career-related services like job matching, career counselling, skill programs, and job fairs. NCS is a convergence point for the Indian Government's three major initiatives - Skill India, Digital India, and Make in India, to provide skilled manpower through digital technology to help achieve 'Employment for All' in a transparent and user-friendly manner.
The NCS app offers various features to job seekers, such as creating a profile, simplified job search, advanced filters, applying for jobs, receiving interview requests directly from the employer, booking appointments with career counsellors, and searching for local service providers. Employers can post new jobs, search and shortlist suitable and verified candidates, send interview requests, participate in events and job fairs, and find contact information of the nearest local service providers.
